About the Author

Copy of Suit Headshot.png

Findlay Ward writes domestic thrillers that make bedtime optional. Fueled by a lifelong obsession with mysteries, she grew up haunting library stacks, convinced every secret in the mystery and thriller section needed uncovering.

Her debut novel, Said the Spider to the Fly, took ten years of writing, rewriting, procrastinating, and living with characters who refused to be quiet. Eventually, they grew loud enough to drown out her inner critic.

When she’s not plotting fictional crimes, Findlay is usually reading in the quiet solitude of her rural Alberta property.
